NNHS Designers Challenge

Would you like to know the latest interior design trends and ideas?  Are you thinking of updating a room in your home or looking for new decorating ideas? 
 

If so, the NNHS Interior Design students may be able to help!  The NNHS Interior Design classes are looking for six rooms in need of new ideas.  It’s free and easy.  We are able to design plans for living rooms, family rooms, or bedrooms. 

Here’s how it works:  You provide the answers to 10 easy questions about your room including your preferences, room dimensions and budget.  You meet with your student designers, and they provide you with a minimum of 3 design plans and options for your project.  Although the students won’t actually do the decorating work in your home, their plans will jumpstart your project by doing all the legwork for you.
 

Designs will be presented to you during the week of December 8^th.  If you’re interested in learning more, e-mail Allison Hillyer @ ahillyer@naperville203.org no later than October 24th.

CTE Weekly Spotlight: Programming 1 & 2

PROGRAMMING 1 & 2

Programming 1 & 2 are semester courses that teach students how to solve problems using the Python Programming Language. Students who take these courses will learn how to write code to control the computer and make it do what they want it to do. The good news is Python is not that hard to understand. In fact, you can probably understand the block of code below even if you have never written a program before:

The even better news, is that the programming Lab is BRAND NEW. New computers, New chairs, New couches, New Ipads, New robots, New projectors, and New colors!
